LIFTING A VEIL OF IGNORANCE

"You should understand that if a veil of ignorance has been burnt or dissolved, as it were, the seeker will, for a certain period of time, have unobstructed vision. Afterward it becomes blurred again. All the same - what will be the result if such a glimpse? Ignorance will have become less dense, and true Knowledge gained greater prominence; in other words, by the momentary lifting of the veil, the individual's bonds will have been loosened. In this condition, there is a semblance of the attainment of real Knowledge; in fact, it is also a state of achievement, although quite different from the state of final Self-realization."
